The Search Strategist develops local, organic and paid search strategy programs and produces interactive campaigns and content that live across all search channels and platforms. The Role

The Search Strategist develops local, organic, and paid strategies, helping to grow our client’s business through a variety of search channels. Our team members ensure client’s expectations are met and exceeded by producing a consistently superior creative product. In this role, the Search Strategist creates innovative and responsible search strategy and oversees the execution of search campaigns and projects. This position is client facing, team oriented and provides for career development and skills enhancement through a range of creative disciplines. What we are looking for

We want creators who are team oriented, innovative and not afraid to take a risk. A Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Advertising, Journalism or Business is preferred. Experience as a search strategist or director in a creative agency or digital agency environment is a plus. Our ideal candidate possesses understanding of SEO and SEM campaign management and optimization practices across Google, Yahoo and Bing. Candidates should have or will be required to obtain official certification for major search platforms. Strong organization and communication skills are necessary for this position. Contact Points

The Search Strategist’s position requires ongoing and in-depth interactions with the following:

  • Internal: The Search Strategist reports to the Creative Director, Account Executive, Project Manager, and has overall responsibility for leading the client search strategy effort. Within the agency, the Search Strategist is the
    leader/coordinator for the client’s local, organic, and paid programs and works closely with all agency personnel in determining project scope, estimating, planning, executing and monitoring assigned projects and deliverables.
  • 2. External: The Search Strategist will have occasional, direct client contact with assigned agency clients and participate in the agency’s new business efforts.

The Search Strategist compiles data across several search platforms and creates weekly and monthly reports that include analysis of insights, optimizations and strategy for clients. They perform competitor site analysis and benchmark content breadth, organization, presentation and search metrics. The Search Strategist reviews, analyzes and evaluates all assigned creative projects, internal agency projects and assigned new business projects. They regularly present research to clients and colleagues. The Search Strategist works with a team to create and implement content for clients.
